Australia
Selected premium Australian Wagyu from Victoria. Supplied wholesale to New Zealand restaurants, butchers and foodservice partners — and curated for premium home dining.
Why Sher Wagyu?
Sher Wagyu is one of Australia's most respected Wagyu producers, based at Ballan in Central Victoria. The Sher family has been producing Wagyu since 1991, exporting to over 14 countries and supplying leading restaurants and butchers across Australia.
Their programme includes both Fullblood and Crossbred (F1) Wagyu, with Beefcorp Australia managing the entire supply chain — from breeding and feedlot through to processing and grading.
Current Featured Source
Wagyu Club NZ currently features selected Sher Wagyu Australia cuts and sets. Our role is to structure these products for the New Zealand market — from wholesale and trade supply through to premium restaurant, butcher and foodservice partners.
Understanding Marbling
Marbling is the fine intramuscular fat within the muscle. It is one of the key reasons Wagyu delivers its signature tenderness, juiciness and rich flavour.
Sher Wagyu beef is assessed by independent AUS-MEAT accredited graders for marble score, meat colour and fat colour. Wagyu Club NZ sources exclusively at MS8 and above — no MS6 or MS7 in our current programme.
Curated for New Zealand
Wagyu Club NZ does more than list beef products online. We structure Wagyu supply around how New Zealand customers actually buy, cook and serve premium beef.
